Campus

The JSSPS Campus[6] is split into two distinct areas. One housing the pre-kg, kindergarten, primary & middle school, the inclusion and pastoral care section, the school clinic, the junior ICT lab and the auditorium. The other housing the secondary school, the canteen the ICT center, and 3 science laboratories.

The school offers an array of indoor and outdoor sports activities and facilities through a temperature controlled swimming pool, cricket nets, soccer field with a grass court, basketball court, lawn tennis courts, volleyball court, Boxing, and Chess. Kindergarten students also have access to an outdoor play area.

CBSE grade 10 board exams

Some of the notable performers were:

Madhumita Balamurugan topped with a percentage of 97.2%. Shanya Mishra,  96% Abhishek Bijudas 96%, Malvika Vithal 95.4% Shreyas Sivan 95.4%.

Four centum were achieved in Mathematics and one in Social Studies. Out of the 101 students who appeared 37% secured above 90%.All students who appeared secured first division with 81.2% achieving distinction.

CBSE grade 12 board exams top performers

Rijul Mohammad topped the Science stream with a percentage of 97.2%. In the Commerce it was Preethika Ramesh who topped with an overall percentage of 95.6%. Shachi Intodia was a close second with 95.4% in Science. Two students, Vishal Padmakumar and Amatullah Batliwala achieved centum in Marketing and Physical Education respectively.

Out of the 81 students who appeared, 16% secured above 90%. Grade average for Science stream is 82.2%, whereas for Commerce Stream it is 80%. Almost all students secured first division with 83% achieving distinction.

JSS PS Harsheeta Bharanidharan Malarvizhi was the winner of the CBSE NATIONAL SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2019-2020 held in GYAN GANGA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY, BHOPAL, INDIA in  October, 2019 she  bagged 3rd place – Bronze medal in  200m Individual Medley and 3rd place – Bronze medal in 100m Butterfly. The school has a top class international swimming coach, Mrs. Julia Abbas. The Physical Education department overall is headed by Mr. Subodh Dhyani.

Dubai Customs – IPR Competition

Students of JSS PS[8] have bagged First place in the Inter school Dubai Customs Intellectual Property Rights Competition for three years in succession in the private school category[9].

Foodshala Kids – Season 1 and Season 2

JSS PS was the runners up at Foodshala Season 1 and winner of the Foodshala Kids Competition Season 2.

Foodshala Kids is a platform for school students to be a part of the region’s biggest inter-school cooking reality show aired on ZEE TV.

In October 2019, our two winners of the Foodshala Kids Season 2 – Ahmed and Nadha visited DisneyLand Paris along with their mentor Mrs. Gwen Dickson as part of the award for winning the Foodshala Kids season 2.

Chess Champions

The Chess and Culture Club for Sharjah Women, signed their first ever contract to sponsor Shanya Mishra as a professional chess player, to empower female athletes and improve their performance, achieving the greatest development impact. Shanya Mishra reigned as UAE’s rapid chess queen 2019. She showed why she is the most sought-after player in the UAE women’s chess fraternity by winning the UAE National Women Rapid Chess Championship 2019, which was conducted in Sharjah. Shanya received a Gold Medal and a trophy for her performance. She is currently a student of grade 11.
