Ivan Djurkovic

Ivan Djurkovic (Serbo-Croatian: Иван Ђурковић, Ivan Đurković; born February 20, 1986 in Ivangrad, SR Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia) is a former Montenegrin handball player who finished his career as left back for Croatian First League's team RK Bjelovar. He started his professional career at very young age, in his hometown club RK Berane. As young and perspective left back player, he moved to Šabac, Serbia being acquired by two-time EHF champion, RK Metaloplastika and then by RK Partizan. Djurkovic continued his career in Croatia, playing for First League's teams, RK Varaždin Di Caprio and RK Metković. Later, he returned to his homeland playing for RK Budvanska rivijera. Last season, he was a member of another EHF champion, RK Bjelovar. He was also a member of Montenegrin U-21 team.
