Islamic University of Madinah
The Islamic University of Madinah (Arabic: الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة) was founded by the government of Saudi Arabia by a royal decree in 1961 in the Islamic holy city of Medina.[2] Although some have associated the Salafi ideology to the university,[3] it has been seen as a misunderstanding due to the institution's objectivity and detachment to any singular ideology.[4] The university received institutional academic accreditation without exceptions from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment in April 2017.[5]
