Ir nidachat

The Ir nidachat (Hebrew, עיר נידחת) is a biblical law. It refers to an Israelite city a majority of whose citizens become idolaters. The laws of the Ir nidachat are outlined in Deuteronomy 13:13-19. The entire body of Israelites is commanded to make war against such a city. It is to be destroyed and all its inhabitants too.
