Ion Eduard Fuhn

Ion Eduard Fuhn (1916–1987) was a Romanian herpetologist, interested in ornithology until he came under the influence of Wolterstorff. Fuhn was director of herpetology and arachnology at the nation's Academy of Science from 1954 to 1976. Two species of skinks are named in his honour, and he was the author of other new taxonomic descriptions.[1]
