Products

Wood, stone and creative decors from Interprint decorate the surfaces of furniture and flooring and derived timber products used for interior design. In these areas, Interprint offers their customers a large range of materials for their processing. These include decorative paper, finish foils, melamine films, water-resistant films and other product innovations – produced with gravure printing or on the worldwide first industrial digital printer for decor printing.[2]

Decor Paper

Decor Paper Production, Arnsberg

Decor paper is a wet-strength, resin-laminable and printable paper of a high opacity for the lamination of wood based materials.
Decor papers finish the surfaces of wood-based panels and are real room designers. They determine the atmosphere of residential and business rooms, play a major role in shop outfitting and become strong-character flooring. Wood, stone and creative decors from Interprint will print the decor paper either in classic rotogravure style or digitally on the industrial digital printing machine.

Digital Printing

In 2015, Interprint put the worldwide first industrial digital printing system for decorative paper into operation. It particularly shows its strengths when it comes to small-volume production – for example, for property-specific, individual designs or market tests.

Wood, stone or creative decors: The single-pass ink-jet system prints repeats of more than five metres with a maximum printing width of 1,680 mm. The decorative paper printed with water-based inks can be impregnated as usual and processed with various derived timber products.

Industrial Digital Printing Machine DPM2

The second digital printing machine began operation in autumn 2019. Interprint used their previous experience for developing this machine and for optimising the colours and materials. The result: an improved print head technology and a higher resolution. A perfect way to provide creative implementations in small as well as large quantities.

The third digital printing machine is scheduled to be ready for operation in the first half of 2021. Once RotaJet 225 launches, the entire spectrum of print width up on 225 cm will become available.

XELIO

XELIO is the brand name of the Interprint finish foil range. The XELIO finish foil is the proof for how creative the technical realisation of decors can be. The use of different intelligent surface effects gives the decors a deliberately natural effect – from a visual and haptic point of view. XELIO is produced at the Ozorków location in Poland.

Melamine Film

A melamine film is made by the soaking of papers with duromer resins in a special machinery. These films are used for the direct coating of wood materials. The melamine film will be produced at the Samara location in Russia and the Curitiba location in Brazil.

Premeer

Premeer is the brand name of a water-repellent polypropylene overlay produced by Interprint USA. Premeer is an environmentally friendly alternative to PVC films because it is manufactured without formaldehyde. It is also extremely water-repellent and can therefore, unlike decor paper or finish foils, also be used in damp rooms. Possible usage: as a profile wrapping overlay, for ceiling or wall panels and for bathroom furniture.
