Institute of Health Technology, Rajshahi or short form I.H.T Rajshahi is one of the government medical institutes in Rajshahi, Bangladesh.[1] In 1976, it started with only 75 students.

History

In 1976, a paramedical institute was established in Laxmipur district of Rajshahi for people of Rajshahi. It was established at the three Faculty (Pharmacy, Lab-medicine and Radiography) started its journey with just 75 students. Gradually increase the number of faculty has nearly 1050 students are currently studying in 7 faculties. At first its name was "paramedical". From 12 July 1989 the institute changed the name of the official orders Institute of Health Technology. Students are admitted to the BSc course from 2009–2010 when the course was started. BSc courses in two faculties (BSc in Medical Technology Laboratory and BSc in physiotherapy) started functioning with 60 students. The BSc course in 5 batches a total of about 75 students and two faculty are studying.

Institute of Health Technology, Rajshahi have an enriched library. In recent edition & so old and valuable books, journal and periodicals in abundance.

Laboratory

In Institute of Health Technology, Rajshahi, All departments have a different laboratory. According to the department work is to be performed in a variety of experiments.The research was conducted by skilled teachers and technologist.

At I.H.T Rajshahi, Anniversary & the popular periodicals are published regularly. All the students and teachers at the institute can write. In all, a rich periodicals are published annually.

Started in 1976 with just 75 students Rajshahi I.H.T. It started with only 75 students, but as soon as possible to win all the uncertainty and barriers I.H.T Rajshahi seen a golden future. Student numbers slowly began to increase steadily. Gradually increase the number of faculty has nearly 1050 students are currently studying in 7 faculties.
