Idris Shaaba Jimada

Idris Shaaba Jimada is a Nigerian academic and the Director of Arewa House Kaduna, he is a professor of history and the deputy dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ahmadu Bello University. Jimada was appointed Director of Arewa House after the tenure of Professor Sule Bello. Arewa House is the former state house of the northern Nigeria region and the residence of the Premier Sir Ahmadu Bello, it is now the centre for historical research and documentations of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.[1][2][3]

Early Life and Education

Jimada hailed from Kwara State, he is a professor of History from the University of Ilorin. He has his MA and PhD from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also has an interest on intergroup relations, contemporary, comparative national and international studies on political and social movements.[4][5]
