Ian Stoutzker

Sir Ian Isaac Stoutzker CBE is a British banker and philanthropist. He was born in London, England in 1929.[1] He is a former chairman of the London Philharmonia Orchestra.[2][3]

In 1977 Stoutzker and Yehudi Menuhin co-founded the Live Music Now charity.[4] In 2012 Stoutzker and his wife donated an art collection to the Tate Modern museum.[5][6][7][8]

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama has their main concert hall named after Stoutzker’s mother, Dora.[9] He once owned the Vieuxtemps Guarneri violin.[10][11]
