Ialovachsk Formation

The Ialovachsk or Yalovach Formation is a Santonian geologic formation in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Fossil dinosaur eggs have been reported from the formation.[1]

Fossil content

The following fossils were reported from the formation:[2]

Pterosaur fossils have been recovered from the formation. Alongside those of many other vertebrate taxa, including dinosaurs,[3][4] turtles[5] and the crocodyliformes Kansajsuchus[6] and Tadzhikosuchus.[7]
