Release

The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2020.[2] Shortly after, Sony Pictures Classics acquired U.S. distribution rights to the film, with Stage 6 Films distributing the film internationally.[3] The film was set to screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2020, but the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[4][5][6]

Critical reception

I Carry You With Me received positive reviews from film critics. As of June 2020, the film holds a 100% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 9 reviews, with a weighted average of 7.75/10.[7]
