Distribution and habitat

Hypericum foliosum is located in the Azores, Portugal, and can be found in damp shaded places in the mountains from 220–800 m (720–2,620 ft) above sea level.

Description

Hypericum foliosum is a shrub that grows to be 50–100 cm (20–39 in) tall. Its inflorescence is golden yellow and has 12-18 petals. It has 20-30 stamens grouped into several stamen fascicles.
