Hydraulic compressor
A hydraulic compressor is any type of air compressor that is powered by hydraulics on a vehicle or machine. Hydraulic compressors convert hydraulic power into mechanical power, and then mechanical power to pneumatic power. This power conversion allows vehicles or equipment with existing hydraulics to simultaneously utilize hydraulic and pneumatic power.[1]
