Hurricane Kenna (disambiguation)

Hurricane Kenna (2002) was a Category 5 hurricane that made landfall in Mexico as a strong Category 4 hurricane, killing 4 and causing $122 million in damage.

The name Kenna was used for two other tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean:

  • Tropical Storm Kenna (1984) – moderate tropical storm that remained well out at sea
  • Hurricane Kenna (1990) – a Category 1 hurricane that did not affect land

The name Kenna was later retired in the spring of 2003, and was replaced with Karina for the 2008 season.
