Hrvoje Vlašić

Hrvoje Vlašić (born 16 July 1969), is a Croatian basketball coach. He currently serves as a head coach for the Široki of the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the ABA League Second Division.

Coaching career

In the beginning of his coaching career Vlašić worked with teams from Croatia such as Dubrava, Kvarner and from Bosnia and Herzegovina such as Posušje, Široki Eronet and Čapljina Lasta.[1] During 2004–05 season he coached Šibenka Dalmare in their only Adriatic League season.

On November 28, 2011, Vlašić became the head coach for the Šibenik-based team Jolly JBS.[2][3] On February 4, 2013, he was fired by the Jolly JBS.[4] On August 23, 2013, he was hired to be the head coach of the Zadar.[5][6] It was his second term as Zadar's head coach. Also, he briefly coached Zadar's team during 2001–02 season.

On August 4, 2016, he was hired to be the head coach of the Mostar-based team Zrinjski.[7][1] On July 10, 2018, he sign a new two-year deal for Zrinjski.[8]
