Holy Cross Convent School is an English medium school in Akola, Maharashtra, India. The school has classes from kindergarten to the tenth grade. It is located on the Jatharpeth Road of Akola. It is one of the most sought-after schools in Akola, due to its rich culture, values, ethics and quality education. The school completed its Golden jubilee in the year 2009, for which a special book was released. There are total two autonomous institutions under the banner of Holy Cross Convent, that are the Holy Cross COnvent high school, and a primary and a pre-primary school of the same name. The school has produced many prominent citizens of the city. The Guardian Minister, Dr Ranjit Patil, the ex-District collector Mr G. Shreekant, the MPs and MLAs of the city and many more high-ranking politicians visit the school frequently. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Devendra Fadnavis also visited the school during the inauguration of the Office of the Guardian Minister.

Organisation

The administration of the school is handled by the Sisters of the Cross.[1]
