High1 Resort

High1 Resort (하이원 리조트) is a ski resort in Jeongseon, South Korea. The resort opened in December 2006. Owned by the public corporation of Kangwon Land, it was developed to revitalize the declining mining towns of Gohan and Sabuk.[1] The resort is one of the largest ski resorts in South Korea along with Yongpyong Resort and Muju Resort.

The highest point of the resort, 'Valley top' has an elevation of 1,376 metres (4,514 ft) above sea level. It is located just below the north of the Baegun Mountain's summit (1,426 m (4,678 ft)). There is an observation house on the second-highest point, 'High1 top'.

The resort is served by the Gohan Station.
