Biography

Hengameh Ghaziani was born in Mashhad, Iran in 1970. She graduated in BA of Human-Economic Geography from Islamic Azad University in Mashhad and Shahre-Rey branches. She continued her education in Western Philosophy in San Francisco University. She has started her artistic career since 2000 with her first appearance in Twilight directed by Hassan Hedayt. Her first role in theatre was named Like blood for steak which was produced by Leev theatre group. For her activities in theatre, she has been candidate for National community for Iranian theatre in 2005 in respect to her role in the notebook written by Jan Clude Career and directed by Katayoun Feiz Marandi. In addition to her artistic activities, she has translated the book of Red Mans Land White Mans Law, written by Wilcomb E. Washburn, a story of the American Indians. Also, in 2015 she established a music band under her name and performed in Vahdat Hall as a singer. She is one of the few Iranian actresses who received two Crystal Simorgh from Fajr International Film Festival.[1]
