Haruka Kato

Haruka Kato (加藤 悠, Katō Haruka, born 5 February 1989[1]) is a Japanese gravure idol, tarento, and professional wrestler. Her real name is the same. She was born from Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

As a tarento she belonged to PBB, but now she is a freelancer.

Although she is freelance as a professional wrestler, at the time of her debut she belonged to World Wonder Ring Stardom with the ring name of Yuri Haruka (はるか 悠梨, Haruka Yūri).

After graduating from Eiwa Girls College, she was scouted and became a part-time job manager of the entertainment office because she was interested in managing work. She was auditioned at the recommendation of the president of her office and started to perform gravure and made television appearances.

According to a column written by her at the pro-wrestling fighting site Battle News, she scouted by Stardom GM Fuka Kakimoto, who read the column. Even trying to break once, Fuka and Rossi Ogawa's enthusiastic love call will become a stardom trainee in 2011.[2]

On 14 November, she passed the pro-tests with the other third graders.[3]

On 25 December, she made his debut with Natsuki Taiyo at the beginning of her third term.[3] At that time her ring name was Yuri Haruka.

Her interview was received after Shinkiba 1st Ring's Act Yasukawa debut match ended on 5 February 2012.[4]

On September 2012, she had orbital floor fracture during a kickboxing practice. On 30 September she had a long-term miss after the Shinkiba Competition, closed the professional wrestling on 31 December.[5] From then on, she took a general position temporarily.

On 14 August 2013 she did a Great Tea Ceremony (exhibition) called Shinshu Girls Pro Wrestling Entry Assessment Match in Shinsyu Beer Garden Pro Wrestling as Haruka Kato. Her costume she wore was from her Stardom career.

On 1 October, she joined as a public relation at the "Private Pro Wrestling Academy" which is active mainly by Makoto of Wrestling New Classic.[6]

On 8 October, she served as the ring announcer of the first Shinshu Girls regular game.[7]

On 31 October, at the WNC Korakuen Games, she played a full-fledged game as a member of a private and professional wrestling school for the first time in a year.[8]

On 1 December, she competed in her first Ganko Pro-Wres. Combined with Makoto, she fought against Yamadaman Ponko & Bambi, inviting fighters to hit Ponkon and causing an erroneous bombardment, but rolled out of the field brawl with both armies.[9]

She made her full return to the WNC Wrestle Battlefield Convention on 26 January 2014 as a player. Combined with Kaho Kobayashi, she played against Makoto and Miyako Matsumoto, but succumb to Makoto's spear.[10] Her ring name used was her real name, and her costume was also renewed.

On 30 March, she appeared in her sixth Shinshu Girls battle with Koyuki Hayashi.

She appeared in the pro-wrestling scene of Chiaki-mura on 13 April, the stage performed by Reina Corporation "German Who is Thrown to the Filipino's Father" She matched up with Manami Katsu in the day and Makoto on the night, respectively. On this stage, Natsumi Tokoda (Natsumi Shookuki at the time of belonging), who was synchronized in the Stardom era, also appeared, and fulfilled the trampling by the curtain call.

On 10 August, she fought with Ariya' at Reina Shinjuku Face Competition, but she gave up to the armpit for the reverse cross. On 30 August, she played against Alex Lee as an assessment match at the Reina Korakuen Games. On 8 March, she came to the Stardom's Shinkiba Competition and her participation of old-fashioned mat was announced.[13]

On 14 June, at the Stadium Korakuen Hall Competition, her fight with Hatsuhinode Kamen became her first single victory.

At the Stadium Shinkiba Competition on 29 May 2016, due to worsening of asthma, she took a break from her wrestling career. She returned the following year.

Personal life

  • Her mother is queen singer, telephone sex Setsuko Shimizu.[14] Hr father lends a building business.
  • She got practiced with J-Network under the guidance of Tomo Kiire, and she also has participated in matches of mixed fighting sports.[15]
  • She acted as a back dancer for ring girls and Yuichiro Nagashima.[15]
  • She became interested in watching wrestling as well. Her favourite groups are the Battlarts and Pro Wrestling Zero1.[15][16]
  • Her favourite player is Munenori Sawa.
  • She is the only child. She is left-handed.
  • From the time of her Stardom career, her home was known as a considerable garbage house[17], and was introduced by ' broadcast on 18 December 2014.
  • Hakuzaze is a living younger sister of Kato.
