Harry Lonsdale (actor)

Harry J. Lonsdale (born Henry Gittus Lonsdale) was a British born actor known for his silent film roles. He played leading parts. He also performed on stage[1][2] and married stage actress Alice Lonnon and then divorced.

The National Portrait Gallery has a photograph of him in costume as the Marquis de Corneville in Les Cloches de Corneville from 1890.[3]

Lonsdale had roles in several Colin Campbell directed films for Selig.
