Hans Riegel Sr.

Johannes "Hans" Riegel Sr. (3 April 1893 – 31 March 1945) was a German inventor who invented the gummy bear in 1922 and founded the Haribo company. The company was passed onto his sons, Hans Riegel and Paul Riegel, following his death.[1]
