Haneeth

Haneeth (Arabic: الحنيذ) is a traditional dish originated from Yemen.[2] It is also very popular in the rest of the Arabian Peninsula.[1] The Haneeth is mentioned in the Quran [11:69].

Preparation

Haneeth meat is traditionally prepared in a hot Tannur that is prepared by burning coal, Leptadenia pyrotechnica and palm fronds which gives the meat its special taste. The Hawaij is usually added to the meat.
