Guna 369

Guna 369 is a 2019 Telugu-language film written and directed by Arjun Jandyala starring Kartikeya Gummakonda and Anagha LK.[1][2] It is produced by Anil Kadiyala and Tirumal Reddy under banner SG Movie Makers. The music is composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj who earlier composed for Karthikeya's RX 100 and this film marks their second collaboration.[3] The movie is inspired by true incidents and released on 2 August 2019.[4][5]

Plot

Movie opens with a couple on a scooty,at a medical shop,buying contraceptives. Owner of the medical shop clicks pictures of the couple and shares it with his gand,who follow the couple and rape the lady. Guna(Kartikeya Gummakonda) an engineering graduate and also a man with ethics and principles works as a marketing manager in a granite quarry. He is a happy go lucky guy who meets Gita (Anagha). He never involves in any quarrels which is not related to him. He searches a match for his sister and meets Sashi, A medical shop owner who, to him, appears to be a decent guy and is an acquaintance of his dearest friend (Mahesh Achanta). Sashi, with his friends, while drunk at a Dhaba, get into altercation with Gaddalagunta Radha(Aditya Menon) . Upon realizing who Radha is, they flee the scene and Sashi approaches Guna for help. Guna speaks with Sashi and asks him to forgive him. to which Sashi tactfully agress and asks Guna to set the meeting spot. Upon arriving, Radha brutally hits Sashi, when he and hisbgang of friends attack and kill him be beheading,while holding Guna down by throwing sand in his eyes. Guna is arrested on charges of accessory to murder. Upon release, all his neighbours avoid Guna. Guna alsonlearns that Gita had committed suicide as her father wanted to marry someone else and had threatened her with his suicide. Radha's hench men start attacking Guna's family with the motive of making him suffer. Guna retaliates and takes injured and piled up goons in car to Radha's place where his mother gives him a week to locate and kill Sashi and his gang. While searching for answers, Guna sees a bunch of kids playing Hide and Seek, where kids give him an idea that Sashi and gang are hiding at a Police's place. Guna's boss, the quary owner, advises him to meet a one town SI. While the SI rubbishes the idea,It is revealed that he is infact harbouring them. Guna reaches the SI's house to bribe him and sees Sashi and all through a reflection on glass. He attacks all of them. He is,in the next scene, seen drinking at a beach with his friend (Mahesh Achanta) and calls up his father (Naresh) and tells him that he is going back to jail. His friend berates him advising him to hand over Sashi and gand to Radha's mother. Guna then reveals that he has learns from SI that Guna's friend ( Mahesh Achanta) and encouraged Sashi and friends to kill Radha as Radha had earlier humiliated Mahesh's family. SI also told Guna that Gita had come to Mahesh for advice when Sashi and all including Guna's friend had raped her and filmed the crime and threatened to release it. She commits suicide fearing consequences and blackmail. Guna beheads the whole gand, except Sashi and His friend and chops off their limbs, saying death is an easy punishment and surrenders to police and makes the SI record the while thing. While Guna is praised for killing rapists, he surrenderes to police and movie ends with him releasing jail with intention of starting new life, letting go of Gita's thoughts.

The Hans India described the film as average, noting problems with the story, describing it as a "routine commercial formula."[6]
