Gregory Spaid

Gregory Preston Spaid (born 1946) is an American artist known for his photographic and mixed media works.[1]

Early life

Spaid was born in Misihiwaka, Indiana.[2] He studied at Kenyon College, receiving a B.A. degree in 1969, and at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he received an M.F.A. in art in 1976.[2] He has been a professor of art at Kenyon College since 1979.[3]

Collections

His work is included in the collections of the Getty Museum,[1] the Museum of Modern Art, New York[4] and the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.[5]
