Greensburg Salem Middle School
Greensburg-Salem Middle School is Greensburg-Salem School District's only middle school, located at the former site of Greensburg-Salem High School. The school features a gifted program, known by students as the Seminar program.

STEAM education
Greensburg-Salem Middle School emphasizes STEAM education with the addition of a Markerspace, also known as the Lion's Lab, located in the library.
Gifted education
Greensburg-Salem Middle School's gifted education program, known as seminar by the students at GSMS, participates in many competitions across Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. The seminar slogan is "We Iz Gifdid" and was created by former seminar teacher Carol Malik.
