Government Engineering College Bikaner

The college was founded in November 2000 with two branches (CSE and ECE) filling a total of 120 seats. In 2002 the college introduced four new branches, with intake increasing to 390. The college now provides postgraduate courses degree in M.Tech, MBA and MCA, undergraduate courses BCA and BBA, and B.Tech degree in six branches - CSE, ECE, EE, IT, ME and EIC with a total intake of 650 students. But Now the intake of this college has raised to 600 seats in which Mechanical and electrical has maximum students with Two shifts for each, 60-60 in each shift (now no difference between these two shifts, Same time batches with two sections. Earlier 3 years ago the 1st shift runs in morning Time and the 2nd shift runs in daytime 12:00 onwards but now both runs on the same. Mechanical and Civil are the best branches, one can choose because of Largest Mechanical Workshop in Rajasthan, Wide exposure, Complete freedom to learn, Wifi in College campus only, not in the hostel, well-accommodated library. Campus placement is not that good but an average of 3.6 lac. Mechanical is the most promising branch of the institution because of the highly experienced and helpful faculty. The college has its own Hostel known as "ECB Hostel" with mess facility and the fee of 50,000 Rs. The hostel has 3 Seater rooms mostly, no charge of electricity. The campus area of the college is very big and mostly the largest among All Rtu affiliated Colleges.
