Good Wealth 2020

Good Wealth 2020 (Chinese: 财神2020) is a 2020 Malaysian Chinese-language comedy film. In the film, when a man is given power by the God of Wealth to make wishes and becomes rich, he has to make choices between money or his family.[1]

The film is released on 6 February 2020 in Malaysia. It is one of the four 2020 Malaysian Chinese New Year films, including A Moment of Happiness, The God of Wealth and Fight Lah! Kopitiam.[2][3]

Synopsis

Bob is a middle-aged divorced man. When his only son is diagnosed with heart failure disease, Bob struggles everyday to make end meets and pay for his son's medical treatment. One day, Bob wishes that the God of Wealth would make him rich. Suddenly, the real God of Wealth appears and grants his wish. For the next seven days, Bob can wish for as much money as he wants. However, with every wish, part of his happy memories will be erased. The more money he makes, the more happy memories he will lose. When his son even begins to lose memories of him, what will he do?[4]
