Gonionota intonans

Gonionota intonans is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1933. It is found in Argentina.[1]

The wingspan is 15–17 mm. The forewings are yellow suffusedly reticulated crimson, the edge of this area convex, the remainder fuscous irregularly and suffusedly mixed crimson, especially around the small blackish second discal stigma, and on an angulated subterminal fascia rising from a small yellow mark on the costa at two-thirds, in females these areas are more defined, crimson streaked yellow. The extreme costal edge is white throughout. The hindwings are grey whitish.[2]
