Gokulam Gopalan

Gokulam Gopalan is an Indian businessman, film producer and distributor from Kerala. He is the owner of Gokulam Group of Companies.

He is best known for producing the 2009 historical drama film Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja and the 2015 Kollywood action thriller Thoongaa Vanam. Other significant film credits include Naku Penta Naku Taka (2013), Thilothama (2015), Clint (2017) and Kayamkulam Kochunni (2018).

In 2018, he appeared alongside Dileep and Siddharth in Rathish Ambat`s Malayalam drama Kammara Sambhavam. His 2019 releases include Mr. & Ms. Rowdy and Kuttimama.

Biography

He was born at Kurikkilad a village near Vadakara in the present day Kozhikode district on 23 July 1944, as the son of Chathu and Madhu who belongs to Thiyya community. Gopalan is the leader of the Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi (SNDV )[3] and the president of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP) branch in Chennai.[4]
