Gliese 299 is a red dwarf star in the constellation Cancer. It is located 22 light-years (6.8 parsecs) from the Earth, based on parallax.[5] It is 15.5% as massive as the Sun,[5] 17.9% as wide,[6] and has a surface temperature of about 3,050 K.[2]
