Giuliano Calza is an Italian fashion designer.

Early life and education

Giuliano Calza was born in Naples, Italy in 1988. He attended Bocconi University in Milan, where he received both a BA in political science and a Masters in Marketing and Communication. At the age of 23 he received a scholarship to Shanghai University and moved to China for four years. During this time he worked in design and in the art and fashion industries.[1]

Design career

In 2015 Calza co-founded GCDS, which stands for “God Can’t Destroy Streetwear”, with his brother Giordano. GCDS is a luxury streetwear fashion label, for which Calza is the head designer and creative director.[1][2] He is also known for his use of bright colors.[3] In 2018 Calza was named to Women's Wear Daily's "40 of Tomorrow" list[4] and the Business of Fashion 500 list.[1]
