Giovanni Niubo

Giovanni Damien Niubo (born February 19, 2002)[1][2][3] is an American actor and singer best known for his role on Lincoln Rd.

Early life

Giovanni Damien Niubo was born in Miami, Florida, on February 19, 2002. His father is a New York City native, and his mother Gisela was born in Havana, Cuba. The actor has three older siblings. After dropping out of high school at 16 he made the choice to proceed with his acting and singing career instead of sticking with college.

Career

Niubo's first acting experience was as the role of Roderigo on William Shakespeare's Othello. The play was held at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium.

In 2006 the actor landed his first role in a commercial for the Canadian bookstore Indigo Books and Music.

On July 2011 Niubo was featured in a music video for Kidz Bop's rendition of Born This Way.[4]

In August 2015, Niubo attended the 2015 Teen Choice Awards.

On April 18, 2018 several clips and articles were released introducing a Facebook Watch series called SKAM Austin.[5][6][7] Niubo appeared in these articles and clips, as the comical Tyler Nunez. An Instagram account was later released for the character.
