Gilles Le Gendre

Gilles Le Gendre (born 13 May 1958) is a French politician serving as President of the La République En Marche group in the National Assembly since 2018. He was elected to the National Assembly in the legislative election of 18 June 2017, representing the 2nd constituency of Paris.[1]

Political career

In Parliament, Le Gendre also serves as member of the Committee on National Defence and the Armed Forces.[2]

Political positions

In July 2019, Le Gendre voted in favor of the French ratification of the European Union’s Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with Canada.[3]
