George Touliatos

George Touliatos (December 9, 1929[2][3] – December 8, 2017)[1] was an American actor. He co-founded the Front Street Theater in Memphis with Barbara Cason.[4]

Personal life

Touliatos was of Greek descent.[5] He attended the University of Iowa.[5]

Career

Touliatos appeared opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen in the slasher film Prom Night (1980).[6]

He appeared opposite Margot Kidder, Annie Potts and Robert Carradine in the 1981 Canadian film Heartaches.[7]

Touliatos portrayed Dave in The Twilight Zone episode "Father and Son Game" (1989).[8]

In 1992, he portrayed Chris in the 1992 film The Swordsman.[9]

He portrayed a New Orleans bartender opposite Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones in the Bruce Beresford film Double Jeopardy (1999).[10]

Touliatos played Lucio Malatesta in the 2002 film Avenging Angelo, starring Sylvester Stallone.[11]

He appeared opposite Molly Shannon and Kevin Nealon in Good Boy! (2003), in which he portrayed Mr. Leone.[12]

In 2012, he appeared opposite Robert Pattinson in Cosmopolis, a David Cronenburg film based on Don DeLillo's novel of the same name.[13]
