George LeMaire

George LeMaire, born Meyer Goldstick,[1] was a vaudeville comedian[2] who appears in several films and worked as a director and producer for Pathé before his untimely death in 1930.[3][4] He was a "veteran straght man" who worked in comedy duos.[5][6] His comedy partners included Eddie Cantor, Joe Phillips,[7] and Louis Simon.[8]

Rufus LeMaire was his brother.

On January 20, 1930 he died from a heart attack.[3]
