Gavin Lewis

Gavin Lewis (born October 27, 2003) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Moody Richardson in the American drama web television miniseries Little Fires Everywhere.

Early life

Gavin Lewis was born on October 27, 2003 in Utah, United States. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, he said, "T1D doesn't affect my acting too much at all. Everyone on set is so supportive, and I never have to feel stressed out about taking care of my blood sugar. Having my Dexcom is a huge help in keeping my numbers safe throughout the day. And my awesome mom watches my numbers from the sidelines and steps in when needed. Sometimes, when I'm really focusing on work I miss the signs of a low, so having my mom there is very helpful. In six months of shooting, we only had to stop rehearsal once because of T1D."[1]

Career

Lewis began his career on stage in his home state of Utah. He is the son of two theatre professionals. He was classically trained at a very young age, earning top honors at the Utah Shakespeare Festival's Acting Competition. He moved to Los Angeles and started acting in television roles. In 2016 he made his feature film debut in Maximum Ride. In 2018 he plays Prince Emil, a prince from Buronia who pretends to be a foreign exchange student, in the Netflix comedy, Prince of Peoria. In 2020 he plays Moody Richardson, Elena's (Reese Witherspoon) and Bill's (Joshua Jackson) younger son in the American drama web television miniseries Little Fires Everywhere.
