Gautam Joglekar

Gautam Joglekar is an Indian actor, director and writer, known for the award winning 1991 Hindi movie Prahaar: The Final Attack and Marathi movies like Pak Pak Pakaak (2005), Nidaan (2000), Aai No. 1 (2007) and Jai Jai Maharashtra Maaza (2012).

Personal life

He is the son of Sai Paranjpye - India's noted director of award-winning movies and noted film/theatre actor Arun Joglekar. His sister Winnie was an actor in Hindi movies, including Katha and Marathi serials.[1]

Career

Gautam starred as the male lead in Nana Patekar's directorial venture Prahaar, with Madhuri Dixit playing the female lead. He directed multi-award winning movie Pak Pak Pakaak in 2005. He recently directed Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza, starring Mahesh Manjrekar and Mrunal Kulkarni in 2012.

Gautam Joglekar has also acted in the daily soaps Assa Sasar Surekh Bai and Radha Prem Rangi Rangili on Colours Marathi.
