Biography

Gabriela Rocha was born in an evangelical home and from the age of five was already singing in the church. She became known for singing the song Aclame ao Senhor on Raul Gil's show in honor of singer Ana Paula Valadão, who since her childhood has been her greatest musical influence.[2] Her first album, titled Jesus was produced by gospel singer Thalles Roberto and released in 2012, but Gabriela became known in Brazil mainly after the release of her second album "Pra Onde Iremos?", released by Sony Music. Her participation in the song Ninguém Explica Deus from the gospel group Preto no Branco became one of his greatest hits, entering the ranking of the most played songs in Brazil.[3][4]

Gabriela is a member of the Lagoinha Church in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, where she recorded her first live album of worship, Até Transbordar.[5][6]

Her musical influences are mainly Ana Paula Valadão and Kari Jobe, both singers of contemporary Christian music.[7]
