Fred Bang
Frederik "Fred" Barry Bang (1916–1981) was a medical researcher who developed the Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) test for bacterial endotoxins.[1][2]

His wife was Betsy Bang and their children included Molly Bang. Bang was awarded a Golden Goose Award for his work on the LAL test in 2019.[3]
