Frank Townsend (rugby league)

Frank W. Townsend (second ¼ 1925[1] – fourth ¼ 1946[2]) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s. He played at club level for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 545), as a centre, i.e. number 3 or 4, he was fatally injured in a match against the Featherstone Rovers at Post Office Road, Featherstone during the 1946–47 season.[3]
