Fourth Mainland Bridge

The Fourth Mainland Bridge is a proposed 38 km long bridge by the Lagos State Government, Nigeria, connecting Lagos Island by way of Lekki, Langbasa, and Baiyeku towns and across Lagos Lagoon to Itamaga, in Ikorodu. The idea was conceptualized by the government of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former governor of Lagos state. Construction is planned to commence in 2017 and be complete by 2019, but had not been started as of April 13, 2020. The project will cost the state an estimated sum of 844 billion in 2017 budget.[1][2]
