FirstCry

FirstCry is an Indian online store for baby product retailing launched in the year 2010. In 2016 FirstCry acquired BabyOye, a brand that was owned by the Mahindra Group, for 362 crore (equivalent to 419 crore or US$59 million in 2019).[2][3] The merged entity now does business under the name - FirstCry.com, a FirstCry Mahindra Venture.[4][5] In January 2020 the consolidated company had over 380 stores across the country out of which around 350 are franchise stores, making is "Asia's largest online shopping store for kids & baby products."[2] FirstCry opened its first outlet in Srinagar in May 2019.[6] The company acquired playschool company "Oi Playschool".[1][7] It is into its series E round of financing.[8]
