Felony murder rule (Ohio)

In the U.S. state of Ohio, the common law felony murder rule has been effectively abolished through the enactment of Ohio's involuntary manslaughter statute.[1] Ohio's first degree murder rule requires that a killing that occurs during a felony must be an intentional killing, instead of the felony murder rule in other jurisdictions, which requires only the intent for the underlying felony for a conviction.[2]
