Fedders

Fedders Corporation is an American company that manufactures air conditioners and other air treatment products. Founded by Theodore Fedders in 1896, Fedders is headquartered in the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.[1]

Fedders owns or licenses several trademarks, including Fedders, Emerson Quiet Kool, Airtemp, Sun, Koppel, Eubank, Polenz, and Maytag.


In 2012, Singapore Hong Leong Asia Ltd., acquired brand name and global trademark rights for FEDDERS as well as a majority stake in Airwell Air-conditioning (China).[2]
