After a life-altering foot injury, Sheikh was forced to abandon her plans to pursue Olympic figure skating, instead focusing on pursuing her proclaimed passion for education.[12] She was awarded the Presidential Scholarship at the University of Miami, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and is pursuing her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. During her six years of studying, Sheikh was a professional ice skating coach, certified by the U.S. Figure Skating Association and Professional Skaters Association. She also took part in beauty pageants, winning the Community Engagement Award as Miss Coral Gables USA 2020 and being a finalist in the Miss Florida USA pageant in January 2020.[13][14]

Sheikh clerked for Judge George Sarduy during the summer after her first year of law school.[15] During her second summer of law school, she was a member of the Rules Committee for U.S. Figure Skating Association. As a third year student, she was a Fellow in the Larry Hoffman|Greenberg Traurig Startup Practicum, where under the guidance of Professor Daniel Ravicher she registered the Munoa trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.[16][17][18][19] Sheikh is one of nine inaugural investment analysts conducting due diligence on startup companies with ties to the University of Miami in the 'Cane Angel Network, under the instruction of Managing Director Jeffrey Camp; for the 'Cane Angel Network, she presented a keynote on Trademark Due Diligence.[20][21][22][23]

Sheikh curates content on topics she finds relevant and interesting, such as entrepreneurship, investing, cosmetology and self-improvement on her Medium website, the 'Cane Angel Network's blog, and the Startup Practicum's WordPress blog.[24][25][26]
