Faldita

"Faldita" (English: "Short Skirt") is a song by Peruvian singer Leslie Shaw with Venezuelan duo Mau y Ricky. It was released by Sony Music and was Shaw's first international release and as the lead single of her 2020 EP.[1] In early 2020, the song was voted as the best Latina collaboration with Mau y Ricky on a Billboard Magazine survey.[2]

Live Performances

Leslie Shaw and Mau y Ricky performed the song at the Calle Ocho Music Festival in Miami on March 10, 2019.[3] Leslie Shaw also performed the song on several television shows including Despierta America.[4]

Music video

The music video for the song was released on March 7, 2019 on Leslie Shaw's Vevo channel. The video was filmed in Havana, Cuba and features Shaw dancing around town wearing different skirts.[1]
