Organization

Established in 1991, Everest Group serves users of global services, providers of services, country organizations and private equity firms, in six continents across all industry categories.[3] The firm has six offices across four countries: Dallas, Gurgaon, Bangalore, London, New York City, and Toronto.[4]

History

In May 1991, Everest Group is founded with two employees as a software company to help manage large outsourcing transactions in an office by Addison Airport in Dallas, Texas.[5]

In 1992, Everest Group becomes the first third-party adviser (TPA) on a mega-deal involving Boeing and IBM and in 1993, Everest Group transitions to a third-party intermediary consulting firm to help re-balance the playing field between service providers and buyers.

In 1995, Everest Group acquires the Outsourcing Center (previously known as Infoserver) and makes an early move to gain Internet presence. Everest Group advises on the first multi-process HRO deal.

In 1999, Everest Group launches the Outsourcing Exchange, an online transaction management system. Everest Group opens office in Australia.

In 2000, Everest Group begins work on a major BPO project for a large Canadian bank. Everest Group is an advisor in the major outsourcing deal between PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Nortel Networks Corporation valued at US$625 million.

In 2001, Everest Group shuts down the Outsourcing Exchange to refocus its strategy and redefine company culture, dropping software from its services to concentrate on high-end TPA. Everest Group advises on the largest HRO deal in Canadian history.

In 2002, Everest Group opens an office in Toronto. Everest Group implements Joint Design methodology.

In 2003, Everest Group opens an office in Delhi.

In 2005, Everest Group opens an office in London. Everest Research Institute is launched. Everest Group starts serving service provider clients.

In 2007, Everest Group works with its first country association, South Africa.
