Erin Smith (entrepreneur)

Erin Smith is an American entrepreneur, 2019 Thiel Fellow, and founder of FacePrint.[1]

Early life and education

Erin Smith was born in 1999[2] in Lexena, Kansas. The summer before her senior year of high school, she participated in MIT's Research Science Institute.[3][4] While accepted to Stanford University in 2018, Erin Smith deferred her acceptance to become a 2019 Thiel Fellow.[1]

FacePrint

Smith developed FacePrint after observing that patients with Parkinson's tended to have facial expressions that appeared distant.
