Early life and education
Costell was born in Toledo, Ohio but was raised in Bedford Township, Monroe County, Michigan. She grew up with 12 siblings.[2] At the age of 16, Costell began modeling while attending high school at Bedford High School in Michigan.[3] Costell was previously represented by Wilhelmina International and the DAN Talent Group. After completing high school in 2011, Costell attended Middle Tennessee State University. She almost graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration but left right before her last semester in order to pursue modeling in Los Angeles.[3]
Career
In 2015 Costell became the first employee of Team 10 on the business side as Jake Paul's assistant. Costell began a YouTube channel in 2017 where she regularly various posts vlogs, reaction videos and Music videos.[3] She became the Chief Operations Officer of what was formally Jake Joseph Paul's Team 10 following the departure of the company's former COO Nick Crompton.[4] In 2018, Jake and her broke up and she left Team 10 to pursue her own independent career. She has recently signed with The Orchard for her music and a London agency for modeling.
In 2020 Costell started a record label named BIA Entertainment, a music label by women, for women. Source: [5] In 2017, her single Jerika with Jake Paul was featured on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. [6]
