Eric Rubin

Eric J. Rubin is an American microbiologist currently the Irene Heinz Given Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases as well as Chair of the Department at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.[1][2] His current concerns are tuberculosis and its infections and his research is commonly cited, 1912, 961, 953 and 510.[3] He holds an M.D. from the School of Medicine as well as a Ph.D. from the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts.

Rubin was named the editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine on June 19, 2019. He started this position in September of 2019.
